Short biography
Darko Dujič has dedicated his professional career to transforming or building digital business and sales models. He focuses on company growth, customer satisfaction and user experience, efficient use of technology, business data and the implementation of business transformation projects. He is currently the director of WeTeh d.o.o., which invests and manages business investments in the field of online shopping, online markets and marketing technology.
Over the past six years, he and his team have built the largest online marketplace in the region with more than 1,000 retailers and 5 million products. He achieved tenfold revenue growth and even greater profit growth as a co-owner and director he lead the company’s successful sales. He spent nearly four years at Google as Head of Business Development at Google Adriatic, where he advised companies on digital transformation.
He is a partner and co-owner in several companies, specializing in the transformation of business in the field of (online) trade, online markets, services and finance. He advises clients in various industries on digital transformation, business model development, multi-channel sales and digital marketing.
He has a degree from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana and a master’s degree in strategic marketing and consumer behavior from IMB. At Google, he continued his professional education under the programs of Duke University, NC, the world’s top-ranked business education school. In addition to business transformation, implementation of new business models, he is expanding his knowledge in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data and machine learning.
